As you may have already read we started installing the systems that are now manufactured by GE Security back in 1999.  Well, in 2007 GE released there new SmartCom system.  It is a very well thought out intergrated intercom and multi-room audio system.  The system can have up to 4 inputs and is expandible up to 16 rooms with a front door/gate station with optional door/gate opening from any station.  A station can page the whole house, or private room to room communication.  A station can also be a set to monitor another room.  Best of all the system can be installed with STEREO in wall or ceiling speakers!
